Species II

While not as bad as I feared, Species II was a bit hard to take. I enjoyed the first movie and had hoped that the sequel would do it justice but it failed in two important aspects of a sequel, it could not stand on it's own and the references to the previous movie subtracted from it, not providing a framework for the sequel. The DVD was actually a pretty good transfer which is a shame considering how many movies that are worth it are transferred in a substandard fashion.
